7 cards per pack. SkyBox Metal Universe returns to its roots! Forget the experiments of the previous release. This year, the manufacturer has completely overhauled the inserts and the series returns to what has always defined it – beautiful cards. Popular inserts such as Jambalaya and Precious Metal Gems (PMG) are of course still here. Instead of the classic Platinum Portraits, the manufacturer has added several new and returning standout inserts including Hot Shots, Hot Numbers, Linchpins, Cache, Tetrad, Metal Ore and more! Autograph cards are inserted at an average of 1 per 2 boxes this year (8 autographs per 16-box case). The Skybox Metal Universe set features: - 100 base cards - 50 Rookie cards - 50 Stars cards (current stars) Each pack contains an average of 1x Rookie and 1x Stars card. Look for numerous numbered parallels, including 1/1 Gold PMG (Precious Metal Gems). Autograph parallels are also available! Also chase the excellent 1998-99 Metal Universe Retro tribute featuring 50 of the best rookies in a retro design. Each card has a unique background inspired by Base Set cards from 1998-99! Collect Skybox Premium Prospects and 1998-99 Skybox Premium Prospects cards featuring the best rookies of the 2022-23 season. The 1998-99 version is likewise inspired by the original series from that era. Look for low-numbered versions, some even autographed! NEW INSERT CARDS! Flash the Glove, Aspects, Rookie Aspects, Bottle Rockets, Jarring and Metal Ore feature top current players and rookies. These could become some of the best-looking cards in your collection. All are also available in Gold and Autograph versions. Look for all-new PETG (acetate-style) inserts The House and the returning Palladium, a very popular insert. Both sets feature current stars and rookies. Each box contains an average of 1x PETG card! You can also find low-numbered Spectrum parallel variations.
