2020 Sticker Album and Pack - SWCH

The year 2020 was unique in many ways, including on the ice. David Pastrňák became the NHL’s leading goal scorer. By winning the Golden Hockey Stick award for the fourth consecutive time, he tied Jaromír Jágr’s record. He also became only the fourth hockey player to be named Czech Athlete of the Year. Ondřej Palát and Jan Rutta won the Stanley Cup. The national team welcomed a new record-holder, with David Jiříček becoming the youngest player ever to represent the Czech senior national team in November.

It would have been a real shame to let these and other memorable moments fade away. That inspired the idea of creating something that would preserve the achievements of Czech hockey players—something exceptional and therefore perfectly suited to the extraordinary year of 2020. We decided on a special sticker edition. Fans had been waiting many years for stickers, much like they had been waiting for another Czech winner of an individual NHL trophy. Both waits are now over.

The officially licensed series Stick with Czech Hockey 2020 includes 45 stickers, each dedicated to a hockey milestone from the previous year. The set features the top ten players from the Golden Hockey Stick voting, notable national team players from the Karjala Cup and Channel One Cup, award winners from elite competitions, and legends. In addition to the number, the back of each sticker includes a short text that brings the moment to life.

The number was not chosen at random. There are 45 stickers partly so that they fit neatly into standard hockey-card binder pages. The base versions also have parallels, so with a little luck you can build a beautiful rainbow consisting of the base version and three parallels (Bronze, Silver, Gold). There is also a Rainbow parallel set featuring the TOP 5 Czech players, which cannot be found in blasters and can be obtained through the redemption program. In February 2022, we also released an album and sticker packs for the series.

Blasters containing 20 stickers are available for 200 Kč, with two limited parallels in every Blaster box. Packs of 5 stickers are also available for 59 Kč and always include 2 holographic David Pastrňák stickers. The A5 album has 28 full-color pages with statistics and season information, providing space to stick in your collection. The album costs 119 Kč and includes one pack inside. Happy collecting!
