The 2023-24 Upper Deck Series 1 Base Set remains unchanged. This continuation follows Series 1 with 200 veteran cards (numbers 251 to 450) and 50 YOUNG GUNS rookie cards (451 to 500). Several new parallel versions have been added: - Outburst Silver (unnumbered) - Deluxe (numbered to 250, Hobby only) - Outburst Red (numbered to 25, Hobby only) - Outburst Gold (1/1, Hobby only) UD Portraits return with a unique design. No two players look the same, with each card featuring its own original design. The checklist includes both current stars and rookies. Each box contains an average of 1 card.  UD Canvas, a highly popular insert set, once again delivers great photography and of course includes CANVAS YOUNG GUNS Rookie cards. In Series 2, the set is expanded with CANVAS RETIRED and PROGRAMME OF EXCELLENCE cards. Series 2 adds another 150 cards (C121-C270). NEW INSERT CARDS: - Director of Boards - this set features only players known for playing the most physical style of hockey (average 1 per box). - Ecliptic - top stars and rookies, always pictured taking a shot on goal (average 1 per box). - Instinctive - goalie-card collectors will love this new set, capturing goaltenders making saves (2 per box). - PC's - a set loaded with only the biggest stars (2 per box). For each set listed above, you can also find Sparkle parallels and the rare Gold Sparkle version. - Deep Roots - features 50 key players from their respective teams. Average 2 per box. - Glaring - every card in this set features a close-up image of the player’s eyes. - Monster Season - this special set celebrates Connor McDavid’s exceptional 2022-23 season, which ended with his third Hart Trophy.
