Why Open the New Gamers? A Unique Experience, a Great Investment and 32 Jágr Cards!

Completely rethink the concept of a product as popular as The Gamers?

Yes, it was a risk – and not a small one. But true to the name of the series, we went for it. Collecting should be fun above all else. A game. And opening the new Gamers is a unique game, not least because every box gives you at least one card that nobody else will ever pull.

Hit a legend such as Dominik Hašek and you have struck gold. The emerging generation also offers strong potential for the future – some of today’s talents may become tomorrow’s stars. Either way, you will be holding something with no copies. A true original: a printing plate in a stylish, hand-finished frame, or perhaps a low-numbered autographed card.

Yes, the autographs remain. We are not such revolutionaries that we would strip The Gamers of their essence. Each box therefore contains two cards – typically one autograph and one printing plate. Both have all the hallmarks of an excellent collectible investment.

Want an autograph from a hockey legend? Of course, you can browse auction sites. There is one drawback, though: with an autograph purchased on a club photograph or vintage postcard, for example, you often know virtually nothing about its origin. Verifying authenticity can be difficult, and reselling it later may be even harder.

Or you can open a box of The Gamers and receive an autograph on a card from an officially licensed manufacturer, signed in the presence of our representative and securely stored in a magnetic holder with a numbered hologram. The only way to be more certain of authenticity would be to have Jozef Golonka sign your forehead in person.

Golonka is, of course, included in The Gamers, alongside František Pospíšil, Vladimír Růžička, Jiří Dopita and other greats. You can also look forward to younger stars led by David Pastrňák. But the headline attraction is clear: newly turned 50-year-old Jaromír Jágr signed 32 cards for us, including a 1 of 1 featuring a photograph of his final goal for the Czech national team!

Whichever name you pull, you can always be confident that you are holding a genuine autograph on a superbly protected card – a collectible that will always carry value. That is a very different proposition from resold autographs of uncertain origin, and another major strength of The Gamers.
